Avrio Privacy Policy

Last update January 1, 2023

Avrio designs products and tools that help individuals through the complete job search process. This Privacy Policy applies to our services and products located at www.avrioai.com (the “Site”) and Avrio mobile applications (each an “App” and collectively the “Apps”). The Site and Apps are collectively referred to in this Policy as the “Avrio Service” and by proceeding to use the Avrio Service you consent that we may process the data that we collect from you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Because we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to help you achieve your career goals, this policy may change over time, but any future changes will not affect data that was collected under a previous version of this policy. If any modifications substantially change your rights, we will send an email summarizing the changes to the address associated with your Avrio account and provide notice on the Avrio Service.

And remember, we’re here to help. If something in this policy does not make sense or if you have any questions, please contact us at info@goavrio.com.

WHAT DATA DOES AVRIO COLLECT?

When You Create a Avrio Account

When you create an Avrio account, we ask for personal information, including your email address and phone number. You will also be asked to enter information about yourself, such as name, contact information, your LinkedIn profile, other social media profiles, your resume, your job preferences, geographic preference, salary preference and other information relevant to your job search, collectively referred to in the Policy as “Your Content”. You may also be asked to download the Avrio App and install Software to ensure proper functioning of the Avrio Service. We use this information to personalize your job search process. We do not display your information to any other users without your permission. We may also ask permission to access basic information from your social media accounts, as allowed by the social networks themselves. You can stop sharing that information with us at any time by removing Avrio’s access to that account.

Once you direct us to share your data with a third party, that data is governed by the third-party’s privacy policy and terms of service. You can revoke your consent to share with the third party at any time in your Avrio account settings.

When You Add Information to Your Account

Avrio is a service that is designed to be highly personalized so that we can customize the Avrio Service to your needs to serve you better. Much of this personalization comes from adding other types of information to your account, such as entering new certifications, job preferences, social networks, selecting job opportunities to explore, career-paths to pursue, desired courses etc. Whenever you add this type of data, we collect it and store it in your Avrio account.

When You Visit the Avrio Service

Avrio collects industry standard data from everyone who visits the Avrio Service—even if you don’t have a Avrio account. This includes log data that automatically records information about your visit, such as your browser type, operating system, device type, device metadata, location, the URL of the page that referred you, the different actions you performed, and the IP address you used to access pages on the Avrio Service. We use this type of information to provide you with an experience that’s relevant to your location based on the IP address and/or your device GPS, to prevent Avrio Service misuse, and to ensure the Avrio Service is working properly. We also collect data from cookies to help us to distinguish between unique browsers and devices in order to avoid showing you the same information twice, keep you logged into the Avrio Service, prevent duplicate actions, prevent duplicate coupon redemptions and improve your experience.  By using the Avrio Service, you are consenting to such use of cookies. Some Web browsers can be set to block cookies. We will respect your choices relating to online tracking, whether you choose to reject or delete individual cookies or set your web browser to reject cookies and other tracking technology.  However, refusing a cookie may, in some cases, preclude you from using, or negatively impact the display, function or features of, the Avrio Service.

When you Communicate with our Bot

When you apply for a job, whether through the Avrio Service or directly with a potential employer who uses the Avrio Service, we may send you an email request to collect further information about your work experience and qualifications via our Bot.  We collect and share the responses you give us with your potential employer. If you do not want us to share this information, do not use the Bot.

Location-based data

When you access the Avrio Service by or through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device.  Location data may convey to us information about how you browse and use the Avrio Service and help us provide you with certain employment opportunities near you.  You will always have the option to disable location-based services through your settings on your mobile device.  Some features of the Service, particularly location-based services, may not function properly if use or availability of location data is impaired or disabled.

WHEN YOU CONTACT US FOR HELP

Whenever you contact Avrio for help, we collect your name, contact information and email address, along with additional information you provide in your request, so that we can provide you with assistance and improve your experience and the Avrio Service.

Information collected by third parties.  We may allow third parties, including but not limited to our authorized service providers, advertising companies, corporate partners, and ad networks, to display advertisements through the Service. This information may allow them to deliver you targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness.  Please see “Data That Does Not Identify You (De--identified Data)” for further information and choices about third-party tracking.
